Dura Trac Calf Stalls & Calf Pens for Healthy Calves

The Dura Trac Calf Stalls and the NEW Dura Trac Calf Pens will provide the durability and comfort you need for healthy calves. The only difference between the two is customer preference. Calf stalls are single housing units that begin with a “starter” stall. “Add-on” stalls are attached to the starter. You can then continue with the add-ons until the row is complete. The Calf Pen is one larger unit that can transition from two or three stalls to one larger pen by removing the center dividers. Calf Pens also have a “starter pen” and “add-on” pens that share a fixed side.

Built to Outlast All Others

However, the similarities are many. For instance, both are built with sturdy pipe and include strong metal flooring. In addition, both styles are completely coated with plastisol, making them extremely durable. Moisture is unable to penetrate the steel because of this tough coating. For this reason, Dura Trac Stalls and Pens will outlast all other calf stalls, hutches, and suites.

Dura Trac Calf Stalls

Dura Trac Calf Stalls is a long-time customer favorite that our company introduced during the World Ag Expo in 2013.

Calf Stall Options

First, the flooring choices are woven wire and expanded metal, both with appropriately sized openings. The plastisol-coated floors aid traction. Because of the superior footing, floor-related injuries are reduced when compared to bare steel, concrete, or other types of flooring. Also, the thick plastisol coating helps to keep calves clean and dry without the need for additional bedding.

Secondly, we provide two side panel options: vented and solid. Your decision on side panels will depend on your preference and location. Vented sides allow the air to flow through freely, while solid sides prevent any unwanted drafts in colder climates and limit contact between calves.

Dura Trac Calf Pen System

We have responded to customer requests and are excited to introduce a new calf product! The Dura Trac Calf Pen Systems are large pens able to convert from group calf pens to single stalls. The unit is built as one large pen with removable dividing panels.

“Starters” and “Add-Ons”

Like the calf stall, there is also a “starter” unit with four outer sides. To fill in the row of pens, “add-on” calf units can be attached that will share a side with the pen before it. Choose between our tried-and-true Clearspan Calf expanded metal or woven wire flooring. Also, depending on your location and preference, select either solid or vented side panels.

Calf Pen Flooring and Side Panel Options

There are a few standard-size options as well. The Triple 30X60 Convertible Calf Pen is 102″ wide x 62″ deep and can be used as one large pen or divided into three stalls. It can also be used as one 30″ x 60″ stall and a 60″ x 60″ pen by only using one of the divider panels. The Double 30X60 pen dimensions are 70″ wide by 62″ deep, and when using the divider panel the individual stalls are 30″ x 60″.

We also offer a size option that provides even more space for each calf. The Double 40X60 pen dimensions are 85″ wide x 62″ deep and when the divider is in place each stall is 40″ x 60″. Bucket holders will add 12″ to the depth. All three sizes have the option of being elevated with legs or not elevated with bolt-down tabs.
