Description
This Clearspan expanded metal farrowing floor system is completely self-supported, so no additional support is needed. The Clearspan Farrow Complete Cast System features a two-level construction, including a 1-inch rise in the center portion, which reduces crushing and allows newborns easy access to the underside nipples. The cast iron center keeps the sow cool, and in front of the cast iron is the 24-inch x 39.75-inch stokboard feed saver.
The expanded metal mesh provides excellent traction for piglets while allowing urine and feces to easily drain into the gutter below. The complete system includes:
- Self-supported expanded metal floor
- 24″ x 42″ cast iron center with a 5′ x 7′ size floor
- 24″ x 48″ cast iron center with a 5′ x 7.5′ size floor
