Description
The one-piece plastisol-coated Clearspan farrow system has an open center for two cast sections under the sow. The cast iron sections are available in 24″ x 42″ and 24″ x 48″. This allows for the cast to fit floors with lengths of 7′, 7.5′, and 8′. The cast iron centers keep the sow cool and have ridges on each side for added traction. The expanded metal provides excellent traction for piglets while allowing urine and feces to drain into the gutter below. No additional support is needed with the Clearspan Farrow Cast Center System.
All system sizes include one self-supported expanded metal Clearspan floor with opening for cast iron centers.
- The 7′ length floor includes two 24″ x 42″ cast iron centers
- The 7.5′ length floor includes one 24″ x 42″ and one 24″ x 48″ cast iron centers
- The 8′ length floor includes two 24″ x 48″ cast iron centers
Leg options are available to elevate the farrowing floor above the alleyway for cleaning the aisle. The 6″ legs are completely plastisol-coated steel and include the necessary hardware. Sold separately.
This Clearspan Farrow Cast Center System provides protection and comfort for newborn piglets and a cool, comfortable area for the sow.
