About Our Plastisol Coating

plastisol coated expanded metal

Clearspan Calf Expanded Metal

One unique feature of Dura Trac flooring is that it is completely coated in plastisol (or polyvinyl). This 1/8+ inch thick rubber-type coating helps keep the animals warm and dry, which in turn adds to their comfort. The plastisol is bonded to the metal and cured at a high temperature for an extended period of time. Thus providing an extremely durable floor. In addition, the smooth texture of the flooring reduces floor-related injuries and allows for easy cleaning.

Calf Products that Increase your Bottom Line

Raised Calf Floors

It all starts with Dura Trac Calf Flooring. Many problems can arise without a reliable and stable base to build the rest of your system upon. Our flooring systems remain dry and feel like room temperature, not like concrete which often feels cold and damp to the touch. Therefore, depending on the age, size, and type of animals that will inhabit the space, we can provide varying products that reduce the stresses that the animals may be under.

Dura Trac floors are 100% plastisol coated, meaning there is no exposed steel. Therefore rust will not permeate through the rubber-like coating. Also, installation is quick and easy, freeing up valuable time for your production. Plus, cleaning is a cinch; easily allowing for labor-efficient modern cleaning methods, saving you time and money.
