Standard Sow Section
Areas that are directly under the sow take a beating over time and may need to be replaced. However, the creep areas will still be in great condition. Instead of replacing the entire floor, you can get replacements for the worn areas only.
The standard size for Dura Trac Sow Sections is 24” x 39-3/4”. Traction bars are welded onto the welded rod section prior to the coating process. Custom sizes are available.
Standard Stokboard Feed Saver
Another area that can wear down over the years is the Dura Saver stokboard feed saver. This durable plastic “saver” is placed in front of the sow on Dura Trac Clearspan Farrow flooring.
There are two types of feed savers, standard and grounded edge. The standard sets in place on the Clearspan farrowing floor, while the grounded edge feed saver is used for the Original farrowing floor. Both styles are the same size but require different hardware for installation.
The standard size is 24” x 32” and the necessary hardware is included.
Both the Sow Section and the Stokboard Feed Saver can be used with any type of flooring (although we are partial to Dura Trac).
